Founder of Habits 360 Medical Clinic, LLC
I am Tijuana Sales, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and a DOT Medical Examiner with over 17 years of healthcare experience. My clinical background includes both outpatient and inpatient settings, such as urgent care, primary care, internal medicine, retail clinics, long-term care, geriatric care, rehabilitation, hospital-based care, and home health services.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arkansas State University–Jonesboro and my Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee. My passion for nursing began at a young age as I watched my mother and grandmother care for others as caregivers. That passion grew stronger when I became an advocate and caregiver for my great-grandmother and grandparents, which sparked my interest in learning about disease prevention, treatment, and overall health management.
I began my nursing career as a Licensed Practical Nurse, working for five years while continuing my education to become a Registered Nurse and later a Nurse Practitioner. In addition to my clinical experience, I have three years of nursing leadership and mentorship experience, where I have guided novice and aspiring nurses in their professional development. I am a member of the American Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
I founded Habits 360 Medical Clinic, LLC to serve my community and surrounding areas by providing accessible, high-quality, patient-centered care. I believe everyone deserves exceptional healthcare regardless of socioeconomic status, cultural background, or religious beliefs. Habits 360 Medical Clinic offers holistic care to patients of all ages, with focus on acute care for illnesses and injuries, early detection of major health conditions, chronic disease management, preventive care and screenings, routine physicals, and treatment of minor emergencies. My approach focuses on helping patients enhance and transform their daily habits to promote healthier lifestyles, long-term wellness, and improved quality of life.
When I am not in my white coat, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and volunteering at community events through my involvement with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
